Franne has been working as a dental hygienist in our office since 2005. She is thankful to work in such a happy and caring environment with a wonderful boss and co-workers that she considers family. Franne is gentle and deeply cares about people and wants to give them her best. She highly respects both Dr. Mann and Dr. Steven Reed for their moral character, integrity, and excellent dentistry!

Kelly is a full-time hygienist that started working for our office in April 2016. She received her Dental Hygiene degree at San Juan College in Farmington NM, where she graduated with honors as a Merrion Master Scholar. She also received Honors Service Learning by donating her time to her community by providing dental cleanings for the elderly, teaching dental education to elementary students, and providing free dental cleanings to the public at several Mission of Mercy events in New Mexico. She enjoys interacting with patients, providing information on new dental research, and most of all she enjoys improving the overall health of her patients. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her daughter. The two of them enjoy rock climbing, hiking, traveling, movies, music, art, and family time.

Nikki has been with our team since 2017. She always dreamed of being a dental hygienist, even as a child. Nikki enjoys working with her co-workers and our patients at Durango Dentistry. “We are one big family!” Nikki has a degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene from Laramie College in Wyoming and was a recipient of the Golden Scaler Award. If you catch Nikki on a day off, she is most likely spending time with her family, friends or two lovable dogs. She loves finding new projects or simply just being outdoors.

Joining the Durango Dentistry team has been the best! They are so caring about their patients and truly strive for lasting relationships. This team is so welcoming, I am truly happy to be here. I hope to fulfill patients’ needs as well as reach out to others, habló español!

I live in Bloomfield, NM and graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at San Juan College in 2022. I enjoy camping and exploring in Colorado during the summer with my husband, family and friends.

Jessica was born in Flagstaff, AZ and has lived in several states across the country. She has called Farmington, NM home for the past 7 years and loves the beauty of the southwest. She received an Associates of Applied Science degree from San Juan College Dental Hygiene program and graduated with Honors as a Merrion Master Scholar in May of 2021 then joined the Durango Dentistry team in August of 2021. She enjoys meeting new patients and helping them feel comfortable as well as educating them on how to improve their oral hygiene and answering any questions they may have. In her free time, she is a book worm, loves baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and 3 children. She feels blessed to work with such caring doctors and a team that feels like family.

Michelle is one of our very talented and knowledgeable dental assistants. She is professional, courteous, and always a pleasure to be around. Her infectious smile and happy personality are sure to make your visit a pleasant experience. She has been with the practice since 2003 and truly loves her work. Michelle goes out of her way to make patients comfortable, informed and at ease during their visit. “Dr. Mann is a fantastic dentist and I would always recommend the practice. I am so happy about Dr. Steven Reed joining the team and the opportunity for growth in the office.” In her free time, Michelle loves hiking, spending time with her two beautiful daughters and fantastic husband. She will also take any opportunity to curl up with a good book.

Caitlin was born and raised here in beautiful Durango, Colorado. She graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in business administration and then worked four years dental assisting in the pediatric dental field. She has always enjoyed working with people and making them feel welcome and creating a pleasant experience. She is excited to join the Durango Dentistry team and continue in the field of dental assisting. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending her time climbing 14ers with her dad, spending time with her family, friends, and dog, and adventuring out in nature.

I have been with the practice since March of 2022. I am grateful for the team we have built at this office, I love each and every one of our employees. I enjoy getting to know our patients and always making sure they are comfortable. It’s rewarding seeing our patients smile and happy with the work we have done. Dr. Reed is an amazing dentist to work with, I would recommend him to just about anyone!

Dr. Mann and Dr. Reed really treat you like family. In my free time I love hiking and fishing in the mountains. The best time is when I get to cuddle with my dog Hazel watching a good show.

Joy is from Flagstaff Arizona where she went to Northern Arizona University. She joined the Durango Dentistry team in early February of 2023 and is excited to work with people that deeply value the care of their patients. Joy is thrilled to be working with Dr Reed and Dr Mann. “You couldn’t find two more amazing Dentists. They really embody the spirit of hospitality, warmth, and great care.” When not working, Joy is an avid climber with a number of high altitude expeditions under her belt. She also enjoys camping and fishing and spending time with her dog, Lola.

Carrie joined the Durango Dentistry team in January 2018. She recently moved here after 15 years in Seattle to be closer to family. She was excited to join Dr. Mann & Dr. Steven Reed and team to continue her career in dental administration, which she’s worked in since 2014. She strives to help each patient understand their insurance and break down their treatment cost. Just as Dr. Mann & Dr. Steven Reed take exceptional care in recommending treatment and treating their patients, Carrie is very detail oriented in her knowledge and understanding of a dental practice. She has enjoyed spending more time with her family and exploring all that Durango has to offer through camping, hiking, events, etc. and looks forward to greeting you when you arrive at Durango Dentistry.

Hi! My name is Essence!

I was born and raised here in Durango and started my career here with Dentistry in June of 2020. I absolutely adore each one of our Team members and all of our patients. My goal everyday is to make each patient feel welcome! I have enjoyed learning and growing every day. Dr Mann and Dr Reed truly go above and beyond for their employees and their patients and its a blessing to be apart of such an awesome team! When I am not answering phones or insurance questions I love to be outside, spending time with my hubby and my nieces and nephews or volunteering at my church.
